High-Protein Recipes

Whether you’re interested in losing weight, gaining muscle or maintaining your current weight, protein should be top-of-mind. Protein, a macronutrient along with fat and carbs, is made of amino acids which are broken down into three categories: essential, conditionally essential and non-essential. The body can’t produce essential amino acids on its own, so they must be found in our diet from a combination of plant-based or animal sources.

Essential protein helps build and repair tissues (like those muscles you’re strengthening) as well as produce enzymes and hormones.
