Week 10: Why Hydration is Important

Hi, 8fitters! It’s officially week 10 of the #8fitChallenge. Last week, the focus was on giving into your favorite temptation and this week is all about hydrationIf you missed any of the previous weekly challenges, catch up here:

Why hydrating is important

If you’ve been with us since day one, odds are you’ve heard us talk about hydration before and you might be drinking enough already. But, we can’t emphasize this enough: hydration is key.

Drinking water helps your body metabolize fat and function optimally. It also helps with cravings and gives your skin that healthy, youthful glow.

Not all liquids are hydrating — we choose water over all else. If your taste buds crave flavor, try adding cucumbers, mint or fresh herbs.
