#8fitChallenge Week 1: Set Your Goals, Reach Your Goals
Welcome to week 1 of the 8fit Challenge! If you haven’t joined the challenge yet, there’s still time to sign up here.
First, we want you to know how proud we are that you’re joining us from the very beginning. You’ve decided to be a part of an amazing, strong community of 8fitters with similar goals: to become healthier, happier versions of themselves.
In your 8fit Challenge Success Guide, we introduced SMART goals. Hopefully, you’ve already set goals for your challenge but If you haven’t, it’s OK! This week we’ll look into those goals further.
What is your “why”?
Your challenge this week: Ask yourself, “Why do I want to achieve this goal?” Note your answer, then question, “Why is it important?” Repeat this till you find out the true “why.”
For example:
Goal: I want to lose weight.
Why 1: Because I want to be more fit.
Why 2: So I can run with my kids.
Real “why”: Because they grow up so fast and I don’t want to miss out playing with them.
Knowing your “why” will keep your motivation burning when this challenge gets tough. And, always remember, we’re all here to support you.
