Booze! Does cutting fat mean you have to give it up entirely?
Drinking is such an integral part of social interactions; we don’t want to forgo every Saturday night on the town either. Alcohol isn’t going to help you get lean, but neither does it have to seriously damage your waistline – or your muscle growth.
Drinking alcohol will not only make fat loss more difficult, it’ll also damage your liver. We know it’s hard depriving ourselves of drinks and food that “make us happy”, but if you really want to make a change, you should consider avoiding those as much as possible.
However, if you are going to drink, red wine is your best choice. Try to keep it moderate and order a glass of water along with your drink. Take sips of water between sips of alcohol. This way it’ll take you longer to finish your drink, and you might reduce the total amount of drinks in one evening.
