It’s week 14 of the #8fitChallenge and we are so proud of how far you’ve come. Last week you shared either a song or quote that motivates you. We’re you surprised to find that it actually works?! Find motivation, then make habits stick
Motivation is what gets you started, but habit is what keeps you going. What you do consistently will produce results.
So, how do you create a habit? Here are some ideas:
- Set a reminder. Use your phone or watch to set a regular alarm to remind you of the habit you want to create.
- Create routine. Get into a routine of working out in the morning or getting up 30 minutes earlier to make and eat breakfast at home.
- Reward yourself. Choose healthy rewards (that aren’t food and don’t cost money) to turn to when healthy habits stick like a bath, a facemask, or other act of self-care.
