This year, we’re all about rest – rest, recovery, and stress reduction. When we are busy or fail to set boundaries between work and home (something we learned about in 2020), our bodies become stressed. The more obvious stress is mental – for example, feeling tired, having brain fog, or getting irritated easily. The less obvious manifestation of stress is inflammation – for example, swelling, pain, digestive problems, and a poor immune response.
As we mentioned above, there is one very simple way to deal with stress: Rest. Other ways to manage stress is with exercise, meditation, and nourishing foods. Golden Milk with Naked Collagen
This recipe is super easy to make – all you need to do is blend. Serve it warm on a cold day or serve cool on a warm day. It’s perfect all year round.
1 ½ cups nut milk, unsweetened
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 scoop Naked Collagen
½ tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp ground ginger (or ¼-inch fresh ginger, peeled)
1 tsp honey or agave
Blend all ingredients together.
Serve warm, room temperature, or chilled.
